A resident of the Sagaing Division who spoke to Burma Election Tracker said: "I voted. There was no verify and match ID cards and voters list. Those without ID cards were allowed to cast votes as well."

This report exemplifies how the voting process is not systematic and very open to manipulation. The lack of verification of identification to vote ensures that there is not a comprehensive way of ensuring that there will not be individuals voting twice, voting if they are not eligible, or someone submitting a fraudulent vote on their behalf.
