According to media reports, eight nineteen year-olds in Chin State who had ID were told not to vote.

Voter in Chin State complains of widespread fraud, threats and problems with voters lists

A voter from Chin State who spoke to Burma Election Tracker said: "We voted for the Chin National Party (CNP). The fraud committed by the USDP and the Election Commission was the follwing:
1. In one district, there were 50,000 eligible voters including 27,000 Chin eligible voters. But on 5th November, the village authorities, Election Commission and USDP together forced the Chin villagers to cast the advance votes for the USDP to win, therefore there were very few voters on 7th November 2010.

Mismatch of voting cards and polling stations causes arguments between voters and officials in Chin State

A voter from Chin State who spoke to Burma Election Tracker said: "Even though I voted for Chin Progressive Party, it was not convenient. Many voters experienced the mismatch of voting cards and polling stations, and mismatch of names. Due to those, people had quarrels with polling station officials."

Government employee in Chin state says he was foced to vote for the USDP and claims there was no election education

A voter in Chin State spoke to Burma Election Tracker about his experience of being forced to vote for the USDP and claims there was no voter education provided. He said: "Because I am a government employee, I had to vote for USDP although I did not like them. People said that there were 4 police persons guarding the polling station. The wasn't any election education.

Election Commission ignores complaints about USDP candidate forcing people to vote for her in Chin State / ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲေကာ္မတီက တိုင္ၾကားမႈမ်ားကို အေရးယူေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးျခင္းမရွိ

A voter from Chin State who spoke to Burma Election Tracker said: "I voted for Chin National Party (CNP). U Kan Lyan Tan, the CNP candidate, reported to the Election Commission that USDP candidate Naunz Mone forced people to vote for her, but the Commission ignored it. Then the candidates began to quarrel. I'm disappointed because of USDP's inequity."

USDP bribes Chin villagers with 2 million kyat; refuses to let villagers attend church until they had cast their ballots

Dr. Ro Uk, the USDP candidate has won from Matupi township constituency, in Chin state, after promising villagers Kyat 20 lakhs before the election in Burma, local people have alleged.

Lailenpi villagers had demanded Kyat 20 lakhs for casting votes for the USDP candidate last October during campaign. Dr. Ro Uk had promised to give them Kyat 20 lakhs on the spot and he got 800 votes on election day.

Citizen in Chin State complains about a lack of educational awareness and USDP's manipulation of absentee ballots ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲပညာေပးမႈမရွိ

A citizen in Chin State spoke to Burma Election Tracker and said, "I voted for the Chin National Party (CNP). The votes of absentees were all going to USDP while I watched it. There's no educational awareness provided for the election."

Throughout Burma, citizens complained about a lack of education and information regarding how to vote in the election. Also, there have been reports of widespread violation of absentee ballots.
