Citizens had no access to polling station and those voted had no knowledge of election in Kachin State (ကခ်င္ျပည္တြင္ တိုင္းရင္သားမဲေပးသူမ်ားအတြက္ မဲရံုမရွိ၊ မဲေပးသူမ်ား ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲ ေၾကာင္းနားမလည္)

A Kachin state resident interviewed by Burma Election Tracker said: "Police and USDP members surrounded the ballot station as security guards. There was no ballot station for Kachin ethnic voters, so most of them did not vote and those voted did had no knowledge about the election. They voted because they were told to. I don't think the election will bring change.”

“မဲရံုပါတ္၀န္းက်င္တြင္ ရဲ/ၾကံဖြံ႔မ်ား လံုျခံဳေရးယူထားသည္။ ကခ်င္တိုင္းရင္းသားမ်ားအတြက္ မဲရံုမေထာင္ေပးသည့္အတြက္ အမ်ားစုမွာ မဲသြားမေပးၾကပါ။ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲအေၾကာင္းကို ဘာမွမသိတဲ့ မဲေပးသူမ်ားသာ လာေရာက္မဲေပးၾကတယ္။ မဲေပးခိုင္းလို႔သာေပးရသည္။ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲျပီးလည္း ဘာမွ ထူးျခားလာမွာ မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။” ဟုကခ်င္တိုင္းရင္သား ေဒသခံတစ္ဦးက Burma Election Tracker သို႕ေျပာသည္။
